What verticals does this support today?

Visual Agents are built for three kinds of business: marketplaces, retailers, and brands. Each gets a different combination of agents, because a marketplace holding one standard across millions of seller uploads and a brand keeping one look across a single listing are not the same problem. Within that, the fidelity raters that score how closely an output matches your actual product are built per product category, and today that means food and fashion. The rest of the analysis layer, covering image quality, cropping, safety, and content, runs on any catalog.

Is this available self-serve?

No. Visual Agents is enterprise only. Parts of the underlying technology, including background removal, editing, and generation, are already on the self-serve API, but the configured end-to-end agent is enterprise.

Does this replace your API for developers?

No. Visual QA and Create & Transform are both available as standalone API products. Visual Agents is the configured, end-to-end version for enterprise catalogs.

Why not build this ourselves?

You can, and some teams do. It means building a fidelity layer around the model APIs, which needs AI and e‑commerce visual expertise in house, dev resource you're competing for internally, and continuous maintenance rather than a one-time build. Keeping the best model plugged in at the right moment, handling rate limits, and holding all of it steady at catalog volume is most of the ongoing work, and it's work that doesn't differentiate your business.

Where do people fit in?

People still matter, and the system is built to use them where they're worth it. What doesn't scale is reviewing everything by hand, since it caps how fast you publish and how much you can test, because every new variant needs a person. Visual Agents narrows human attention to the outputs that genuinely need a judgment call, each one flagged with a confidence score so your reviewer knows exactly where to look. With the Enterprise Guarantee, that last step comes to us instead, and our team handles the fixes.

Who decides if an image passes or fails?

Visual QA scores every output against the criteria you agreed before launch. Those criteria are co-written with you and built into the contract before any work starts, so a pass or fail is measured against your standard, not ours. Borderline cases can route to manual review if you want that step.

How many retries does an agent run?

You set the limit with your Solution Engineer, since every retry has a cost. A retry isn't always the same attempt again either. In fashion, where we can localize what went wrong in the image, the retry goes back with a corrected prompt rather than the same one.

Can we configure the agents ourselves?

Your Solution Engineer builds and tunes the workflow with you. Overrides for practical settings like export format and output size are being looked at. If direct control matters to your team, raise it with your account team so it factors into prioritization.

How is Visual Agents pricing calculated?

Visual Agents configured for your business can have negotiated pricing based on the workflows they run. Usage outside your configured Visual Agents is charged from the same Enterprise balance at standard rates. For more details, contact our sales team or visit our pricing page.

How does this relate to the Enterprise Guarantee?

The guarantee is an option you add to a Visual Agents contract. Your agent runs its own retry loop first, and the guarantee covers outputs that still miss after that loop has run.
