Remove your visuals' background with AIRemove Background API

The Remove Background API allows you to isolate the subject of an image by removing the background of the image. Using this API is appropriate if you only need to remove the background of your image, and don't need to perform any additional edits.

The Remove Background API supports four formats for the input image: PNG, JPEG, WEBP, and HEIC.

For the resulting image, the Remove Background API supports three formats: PNG, JPEG, and WEBP.

By default, the result image will be in PNG format.

First, get the API key here. The API key is a token that you provide when making API calls, so include the token in a header parameter called x-api-key. Then make your first HTTP call. To implement it correctly to your website or native app, you can find the API documentation here.

To use the Remove Background API, you typically must upload the image file when making the API call. However, if your image is hosted online and you only have the URL, alternative methods are available to process the image through the Photoroom API.
